Policies & Care

At Valkyrie Spirit, we are deeply committed to maintaining an inclusive, and restorative environment where every client feels honored and cared for. Our guidelines ensure that each session remains a sanctuary for healing and deep relaxation.
Spa Etiquette
Arrival & Peace
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to allow yourself time to settle into the tranquility of our space. Please maintain a soft-spoken voice to honor the restorative journey of all our guests. A waiting area and restroom are available as you prepare for your session. Feel free to relax until your practitioner greets you.
Digital Detox
To ensure a meditative environment, we kindly ask that all mobile devices are switched to silent or powered off upon entry. This is your time to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with yourself.
Late Arrival
While we strive to provide your full experience, late arrivals may result in a shortened session to ensure we honor the schedules of all our guests. Since each time slot is dedicated exclusively to you, your treatment must conclude at the scheduled time, and the complete service fee will still apply. If you anticipate a delay, please send a brief message to your practitioner so we can graciously prepare for your arrival. We appreciate your understanding as we maintain this space of punctuality and peace for everyone.
Inappropriate Behaviour
We strive to foster a sanctuary of mutual respect and safety. Professional boundaries are vital; therefore, any conduct of a sexual or harmful nature is strictly prohibited. Such actions will result in an immediate end to the session, full fees charged, and the closure of your client file. We will involve authorities if peace is compromised.

Cancelation Policy
To honor the sanctity of our shared time and space, we kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows us to offer the opening to another soul on their restorative journey.
Should you need to adjust your time, changes within 48 hours incur a 50% fee, while those within 24 hours require full payment to the card on file. This dedicated session is held specifically for you, and providing ample notice allows us to offer this space to others.
We appreciate your understanding in honouring the practitioners time and energy.
What should I wear?
We invite you to wear whatever makes you feel most relaxed and at ease. Loose clothing works beautifully, however, we provide cozy linens if you prefer to undress for your comfort and care.
Where should I park?
You will find ample street parking throughout the downtown area. For longer stays, we recommend the conveniently located Seymour parkade on 2nd, which is just a few blocks away and offers affordable day rates starting at approximately $5.
Is it okay to not talk during my treatment?
We welcome and encourage your silence as a path to deeper peace. Stillness can support the nervous system in its natural healing process, though we honor that every journey is unique. If you prefer to find comfort through conversation or movement during your session, we are here to hold that space and connect with you.
Where are you located?
We are located at 248 Victoria St, adjacent to The Art We Are Cafe. Enter via the grey door labeled "The Freemont Collective" and go up to unit #301.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Absolutely. Share the gift of healing with a physical gift card available at our centre, or choose convenience with a digital certificate purchased through our online booking platform which is sent directly to your inbox with a gift card #
Is the business only assessable via stairs?
Yes, our sanctuary is located on the third floor, accessed by stairs with handrails for your safety and support.
What is the best form of payment?
If paying with a card, we prefer payment through our terminal at the end of treatment, another alternative is charging the card on file. Debit, credit card and cash are all accepted.
